Terms
These terms are between you and CONFIRM: legal entity name ("we"), and apply when you install or use Truecount.
The service
Truecount is a GitHub App, with an optional GitHub Action, that reviews pull requests and audits repositories using language models. What it does and what it will not do is described on the home page, and how it handles your data in the privacy policy.
Your account
You use Truecount through your GitHub account. By installing it on a repository or organization, you confirm you are allowed to grant it the access it asks for there.
Model output is advice
Reviews, audits and pull requests from Truecount are written by language models. They can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken. Nothing is merged without a person approving it, and you are responsible for what you merge.
Fair use
You agree not to:
- get around plan limits, including by spreading one team's use across several accounts;
- use Truecount to process content you have no right to process, or that is illegal;
- interfere with the service or with other customers' use of it;
- probe, scan or attack the service, except by reporting what you find through the contact form.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are bought and billed through GitHub Marketplace, under GitHub's terms for Marketplace purchases. Free plan limits may change; we will post changes on this site at least CONFIRM: notice period before they apply.
Availability
We try to keep Truecount running but do not guarantee it. Free plan work may wait in a queue behind paid work. CONFIRM: whether paid plans carry any availability commitment.
Your content
You keep all rights to your code and content. You allow us to process it only to provide Truecount to you, as described in the privacy policy.
Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or end access for a breach of these terms, or end the service with CONFIRM: notice period notice.
Disclaimers and liability
Truecount is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. CONFIRM: limitation of liability wording, and the cap.
Changes and law
We may update these terms and will post the new version here with its date. CONFIRM: governing law and venue; effective date.
